Jakarta. Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2026 officially wrapped up on Sunday after running for more than a month at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. Held from June 11, the country's largest multi-product exhibition recorded Rp 8.2 trillion ($452.3 million) in transactions and attracted 6.1 million visitors.

Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno said the results reflected strong public enthusiasm for the annual event, which continues to attract visitors not only from Jakarta but also from across Indonesia.

"This year's Jakarta Fair welcomed more than 6 million visitors, while transactions exceeded Rp 8 trillion. Alhamdulillah. These achievements reflect Jakarta's resilient economic optimism," Rano said during the event's closing ceremony on Sunday evening.

Rano said Jakarta Fair has evolved beyond an annual celebration marking the capital's anniversary, becoming a platform that brings together government services, businesses, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and the creative industry under one roof.

"With more than 1,800 booths and 2,800 exhibitors, including hundreds of MSMEs and industries from across the country, Jakarta Fair has once again demonstrated its role as a showcase for Indonesia's leading products, as well as a venue for business opportunities, investment, and creativity," he said.

Rano expressed hope that next year's Jakarta Fair would be even larger, as it will coincide with Jakarta's 500th anniversary, creating broader economic benefits for the public and business community.

"Next year, Jakarta will celebrate its 500th anniversary—five centuries of history, a milestone we can all be proud of. I hope next year's Jakarta Fair will be even bigger, livelier, more innovative, and deliver even greater economic benefits," he said.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Fair Kemayoran Organizing Committee Chair Siti Hartati Murdaya said this year's exhibition featured around 2,800 exhibitors across more than 1,800 booths, including MSMEs from various regions. Beyond serving as a product promotion platform, the event also created tens of thousands of jobs from the preparation stage through its conclusion.

"Throughout Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2026, total attendance reached 6.1 million visitors, while transactions between sellers and buyers -- not withJIExpo, but among participants themselves -- totaled Rp 8.2 trillion," Siti Hartati said.

She added that Jakarta Fair will return in 2027 alongside celebrations marking Jakarta's 500th anniversary, reaffirming its position as one of Southeast Asia's largest platforms for product promotion and entertainment.
