Jakarta. Islamic convention CONNECT 2026 is expected to become a major gathering for Indonesian Muslims who wish to reflect ondealing with modern struggles.

The event, which will take place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition BSD on Jan. 23-25, seeks to tackle the anxiety that everyone shares today. The world is facing increasingly complex pressures, ranging from social and economic conditions, global humanitarian issues, to often-unseen mental and spiritual exhaustion. CONNECT aims to help the community stay sane, faithful, and actively become part of the solution.

To this end, CONNECT 2026 features some of the prominent sheikhs from both home and abroad who will tackle the big theme of modern struggles. This includes Sheikh Assim al-Hakeem and Dr. Khalid Basalamah.  Beyond the main stage talks, participants can take part in an interactive sofa chat session and an art space. CONNECT 2026 will also include an art and installation space. It will see how art can be an alternative medium for da'wah or Islamic outreach. This year's edition of CONNECT will also put more focus on muamalah practices and broader community involvement.

A bazaar area will be available in Hall 1. This area is open to the public and accessible to anyone without purchasing a ticket to the main event. This area serves as a vibrant muamalah space — bringing together Muslim entrepreneurs, local brands, communities, and the general public in a healthy, halal, and mutually reinforcing ecosystem.

CONNECT 2026 also features a collaborative program with schools, including educational visits to the event. Students are invited to experience the behind-the-scenes process of organizing a professional, international-standard event, from production and event management to cross-team coordination.
