Jakarta. Southeast Asia’s biggest handcraft event INACRAFT is back with its sister event to provide space for young entrepreneurs in the industry.

The sister event, dubbed the INACRAFT October 2025 Vol. 4 Youthpreneurs, has officially opened its doors at Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). The event will last until October 5.

INACRAFT October 2025 embraces the theme “Craft, Culture, and Future” as the event seeks to not only maintain tradition, but also to promote new faces and innovations in the industry. Indonesian handicraft producer and exporter association ASEPHI, too, also pushes for this regeneration. To this end, the event has 20 youthpreneur booths at Hall A. TINACRAFT October 2025  will have a total of 843 booths selling a wide range of goods starting from home decor, home living to batik, some even coming from other countries such as Uzbekistan, Iran, India, Malaysia, among others.

The trade fair will also have tons of other events, ranging from a series of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) signing, workshops, and business networking. ASEPHI will ink MoU with the MSME Ministry, while also partnering with several universities, including ISI Surakarta, University of Indonesia's vocational program, STTT Bandung Polytechnic, SWINS, and Pekalongan University.

INACRAFT Appreciation Night will also be back to recognize the industry’s young entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the development of sustainable crafts. The event has also set up a special spot at the JICC Lobby to allow visitors to take part in various craft demonstrations with artisans, craftspeople, and business owners.

ASEPHI is also set to hold some meetings, including one with South Africa, as the association seeks to bring Indonesian handicrafts to the global market. There are also some dedicated space for export zones, Bank Mandiri, Pertamina, Injourney Airports (Angkasa Pura 1), MSME Ministry, Pelindo, and PLN.

The committee aims to attract as many as 75,000 visitors and 100 international buyers. It also seeks to record Rp 80 billion ($4.8 million) in retail transactions, with the targeted trade contracts set at $2 million. Potential buyers will not only be able to check out the products made by ASEPHI members, but also the work of 27 young entrepreneurs. The Trade Ministry will also help facilitate the business meetings.

"This momentum presents an opportunity to provide stronger support to MSMEs and creative industry players. For Bank Mandiri, the creative sector and MSMEs are crucial pillars in creating new jobs, empowering communities, and maintaining the nation's identity and staying relevant in the digital era," Jan Winston Tambunan, the director for network and retail funding at the event’s main sponsor Bank Mandiri, said.
