Here Are 2024 Astranauts Winners
Jakarta. Astra recently announced the winners of its technology competition 2024 Astranauts.
The event embraced the theme "Tech Innovations for Today and the Future of Indonesia", and zeroed in on eight topics: smart automotive and manufacturing; smart financial services; smart mining & energy; smart agriculture; smart mobility & logistics; smart infrastructure & property; smart technology; smart healthcare.
After going through a series of mentoring and demo days, Asst Findr became the winner of the Business Challenge track category. Pertagenzy won the Student Track category, while Nelayan Berdasi was the winner of the Startup Track.
"One of the objectives of implementing Astranauts 2024 is to support and maximize the potential of Indonesia's demographic bonus. As the productive-age population increases, we hope the younger generation can contribute in providing more solutions through Astranauts 2024," Astra director Santosa said.
The 2024 Astranauts captured over 2,000 innovation ideas, and then they picked 19 finalists who qualified for Demo Day. All finalists then presented their ideas to the judges, including Astra's chief of group digital strategy Paul Soegianto, who admitted he was impressed by the ideas.
"Very impressive. Imagine, this year we have almost 2,000 submissions. This means that young Indonesians never lack ideas and they actually want to build this country together," Paul told reporters.
The business challenge track tests the finalists' ability to provide solutions for real cases provided by Astra. Two Astra companies --Pama Persana and Astragraphia-- became partners in this category.
