Hauling Road Boosts RMKO’s Q3 2025 Performance
Jakarta. Royaltama Mulia Kontraktindo, also known by its ticker symbol RMKO, said that the operations of hauling roads had supported its performance in the third quarter of 2025.
A hauling road facility has now connected two new mines: Wiraduta Sejahtera Langgeng (WSL) and Duta Bara Utama (DBU). RMKO reported that the integration had significantly improved operational efficiency, with an additional 724,000 tons of coal volume since the facility began operating in the first half of this year. This resulted in a 74.1 percent year-on-year (yoy) growth in train loading volume in Q3 2025. The nine-month volume also grew 37.8 percent yoy, now reaching 916,600 tons by September 2025.
The hauling road facility has also become a major boon for RMKO’s financial performance. Its operating revenue surged 19 percent yoy as of September 2025. In Q3 2025, the company began registering a profit of Rp 4.3 billion ($257,330). The debt-to-equity ratio is at 0.7.
RMKO President Director Vincent Saputra said that the hauling road connectivity had allowed “the company to keep contributing to the government's energy security program at competitive costs amidst the pressure of falling coal prices and unstable economic conditions.”
“RMKO is taking proactive steps by constructing this hauling road to ensure coal transportation does not disrupt community activities and reduce environmental impact, as it does not use public roads," Vincent said.
He also remained upbeat about the company’s future prospects.
"Our strategy of developing hauling road connectivity with other potential mines will be key to increasing coal train loading volumes and generating additional revenue from various business lines. We are confident that this strategy will enable RMKO to shift from the investment phase to a more mature operational phase, delivering sustainable growth for all stakeholders," Vincent said.
