Freshly Launched Brawijaya DAPS Offers Aesthetic Services
Jakarta. The Brawijaya Dermatology, Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery (DAPS) is now open for business.
The freshly launched aesthetic services, which are in partnership with the NMW Group, are available at Brawijaya Hospital in Antasari, South Jakarta. According to Brawijaya Hospital Antasari’s director dr. Uf Bagazi, SPOG, people will no longer need to fly abroad to get their beauty treatments.
"So some people usually go to Singapore, and Malaysia, while others go to Korea. We have had people asking us why not have the aesthetic services,” Uf said.
Brawijaya DAPS Antasari offers doctors who are as skilled as those abroad, according to Uf. It also has complete equipment sets and a hospital as a referral base in anticipating treatment risks.
“The longest treatment, namely a plastic surgery, that we have done was 20 hours long. It was a high-risk procedure. It is not possible to do these services elsewhere like in a clinic,” Uf said.
"For example, it requires anesthesia, especially long anesthesia. There is a risk of stopping at critical care, ICU, or high care,” Uf said, adding that having the services within the hospital would prevent the need for the patient to be transferred.
Celebrities Tantri Syalindri and Nirina Zubir said that they were happy with the launch of Brawijaya DAPS.
Nirina said: "Having the DAPS services in a hospital really makes the patients feel more comfortable and safer. When it comes to getting a treatment, it is important to have that sense of safety and comfort.”
Tantri said she felt more comfortable getting the aesthetic services in Indonesia rather than having to go overseas due to language issues, among others.
"Some people might not be as fluent when getting their treatment abroad. But if we get it done in Indonesia, we know how to speak the language,” she added.
