Jakarta. Jewelry maker Frank & co. recently revamped its first-ever store in Pondok Indah Mall, a popular shopping center in the bustling Jakarta.

The grand reopening of the store, which opened its doors in 1996, embraced the theme "Your Legacy: The Proof of Your Timeless Love". As the name suggests, Frank & co. wants to show a timeless love in each of its jewelry collections.

"This grand reopening marks our 30-year journey in the business. We wish to gradually revamp all of our stores. … This is indeed our legacy that we shall remain timeless, just like natural diamonds," Rolly Soesanto, the general manager at Frank & co., said.

Frank & co. has partnered with interior designer Yuni Jie to launch the store’s new look.

"The process embraced a functional and modern visual approach. I was thinking of luxury leisure, so I used natural diamonds as my inspiration when designing the space. Mother Earth and love are indeed timeless,” Yuni Jie said.

According to Yuni Jie, the concentric circles in various elements around the room are inspired by the shape of a diamond mine. The maroon padded wall accents are also reminiscent of the inside of a jewelry box.

Frank & co. also teamed up with talented painter Ajeng Martia Saputri. Her work, dubbed “The True Jewels of Life” became a centerpiece at the store. Ajeng said: “I tried to combine a feminine approach, expressive splashes of color, and a romantic nuance that radiates a love for life. I hope people will not see it as an artwork, but also something that celebrates the timeless love itself.”

Fashion designer Stella Rissa is also taking part in the revamp by designing the new uniform for Frank & co.’s jewelry representatives. Stella's work conveys a strong and elegant image.

"I prioritize bold, sensuous, and alluring design characteristics, as well as designs that focus on detail and structure. I hope each piece of jewelry radiates the brand’s legacy of brilliance, excellence, and, of course, love for every customer who comes in," Stella said.

One of Frank & co.’s signature collections is the Frank Fire. Only 1 percent of the world’s top-rated Triple Excellent Diamonds pass the rigorous curation process to become part of this exclusive collection. Each Frank Fire diamond is graded based on 12 evaluation parameters, and has been certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and Sarine Technologies. It is also laser-inscribed with the "Frank Fire" logo on the diamond girdle. Frank & co. also provides its customers a transparent digital report to let them know about the diamond specifications.
