DTI Series 2026 Opens to Advance Indonesia's Digital Transformation
Jakarta. Digital Transformation Indonesia (DTI) Series 2026 officially opened on Wednesday at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), marking the start of Indonesia’s largest digital technology conference and exhibition, running from Aug. 5–6.
Now in its fifth year, DTI Series 2026 features four co-located events: DTI-CX, DCTI-CX, DTI-HR, and CRD-CX (Cyber Resilience & Defense). The event brings together government officials, regulators, industry leaders, and technology providers representing 16 strategic sectors.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from the government, industry associations, and business leaders from Indonesia and abroad.
Adhouse Clarion Events President Director Toerangga Putra expressed appreciation to the event’s strategic partners, ministries, and co-hosts for supporting DTI Series 2026. He said this year's event is expected to strengthen cross-sector collaboration and accelerate Indonesia’s progress toward a more mature and globally competitive digital economy.
Representing Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid, Digital Ecosystem Director General Edwin Hidayat Abdullah said Indonesia has entered a critical phase of digital transformation on its path toward the 2045 vision of becoming a developed nation with one of the world's five to seven largest economies.
"Indonesia’s digital ecosystem should be viewed as four interconnected layers: physical infrastructure, virtual infrastructure, platforms and intermediation, as well as services and applications," Edwin said. "Digital development also encompasses talent, quality investment, a healthy ecosystem, and trustworthy governance."
National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Head Nugroho Sulistyo Budi also welcomed the event, describing DTI Series and CRD-CX as a reflection of the shared commitment to building a secure, resilient, and trusted digital ecosystem.
He added that President Prabowo Subianto has emphasized digitalization as essential to creating a faster, more efficient, transparent, and responsive bureaucracy.
Chief of Economic Affairs Minister Airlangga Hartarto said cybersecurity has become a key priority in supporting Indonesia’s economic resilience.
"While the global economy is growing at an average rate of around 3.5%, Indonesia continues to grow above 5%," Airlangga said.
He added that strengthening the digital economy must go hand in hand with expanding energy infrastructure, as rising demand for data centers and artificial intelligence development continues to increase the country's energy needs.
The opening ceremony was also attended by MASTEL Chairman Sarwoto Atmosutarno, IDPRO Chairman Hendra Suryakusuma, PMSM Indonesia Chairman Dudi Arisandi, and Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) CEO Bambang Brodjonegoro, who shared their perspectives on the role of digital transformation in driving regional economic growth.
As one of Indonesia’s leading business and technology platforms, DTI Series 2026 showcases digital solutions for 16 major industries, covering artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, data center technology, HR technology, cloud computing, and enterprise digital solutions.
Over the two-day event, visitors can attend strategic conference sessions free of charge, explore dozens of technology demonstrations, and participate in interactive workshops, providing organizations and businesses with practical solutions to support their digital transformation initiatives.
DTI Series 2026 features more than 260 speakers, 450 technology solutions, and 133 conference sessions, with organizers targeting more than 13,000 visitors during the two-day event.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), MASTEL, APJII, IDPRO, and PMSM Indonesia.
