Jakarta. The BRI Balanced Regular Income Fund (BRIF), a mutual fund flagship product from the investment manager, BRI Manajemen Investasi (BRI-MI), recently took home an award at the 2024 Marketeers Editor’s Choice Award.

The award acknowledges BRIF for implementing product enhancement strategies and well-focused marketing, which both have led to a significant jump in its assets under management (AUM) throughout the year 2024.

According to BRI-MI’s President Director, Tina Meilina, product innovations are key in keeping customers satisfied.

"We are grateful to our investors who have placed their trust in BRIF mutual funds. This award inspires us to continuously innovate and improve our product performance to benefit our investors," Tina was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.

Innovations and focused marketing strategies prove the company’s commitment to providing optimal investment products for investors. In June 2024, BRIF became the fixed-income mutual fund product with the highest AUM in Indonesia. It saw an AUM year-to-date growth of 14.61 percent.

"As of August 31, 2024, BRIF products recorded a growth in managed funds of 32.39 percent year-on-year [yoy]. The growth of single investor identification [SID] grew 22 percent yoy in the same period. This shows that BRIF mutual fund products are increasingly trusted and in demand by investors in Indonesia," Tina said.

BRI-MI first launched BRIF in July 2019. BRIF offers regular monthly dividend payments, providing investors not only with returns from their investments but also with a steady income stream. Investors not only get returns from their investments, but can also enjoy dividends from this mixed asset class mutual fund.

BRIF is also a product that is in sync with Bank BRI, according to BRI-MI. The said BRI-MI product saw a 2,214 percent growth of AUM by end-2023. The product's investment strategy that allocates managed funds to several types of instruments reflects investment management that prioritizes the potential for optimal returns balanced with measurable risk management, thus providing an investment experience that is familiar with savings products.
