BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s Paritrana Award Holds Interview Round
Jakarta. Paritrana Award -- an awarding event that recognizes firms who support universal coverage of social securities -- has held its nationwide interview round.
The interviews took place on April 22-26. As many as 12 provincial governments and 11 firms entered this round. The award, which began in 2017, takes place every year. Hosting the awarding ceremony are the Coordinating Ministry for Cultural Affairs and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan -- supported by the Manpower Ministry and Home Affairs Ministry.
According to a press release, one of the parameters includes whether the companies are actively encouraging employment social security. The government is seeking to bring down extreme poverty to 0 percent by 2024. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan plays a key role in helping prevent people from falling into poverty due to socio-economic risks.
At this interview stage, each candidate is required to present their highest leadership. Sub-national governments shall be represented directly by the regional head. President director or C-level may represent businesses, while rectors can represent universities. All may be accompanied by two officials.
