Jakarta. As the digital banking arm of the BRI Group, Bank Raya Indonesia (AGRO) continues to strengthen its support for local communities by promoting financial inclusion and digital banking adoption across Indonesia.

In line with this mission, Bank Raya hosted “Inspiraya,” an empowerment event in collaboration with the Kompas Gramedia Business Community, bringing together hundreds of local entrepreneurs to accelerate business growth through smart financial management and technology adoption.

Held under the theme “From Digital Savings to a Winning Business: Preparing Resilient MSMEs in the Digital Finance Era,” the event highlighted how small and medium business owners can leverage digital bookkeeping to separate business and personal finances -- an essential step toward more sustainable business growth.

During the event, Bank Raya also introduced Saku Bisnis (Business Pocket), one of the flagship features on the Raya App, designed to simplify financial management for micro and small businesses.

“The Inspiraya program is a financial literacy initiative created by Bank Raya as part of our commitment to expanding financial literacy in the community through inspiring content,” said Ajeng Putri Hapsari, Corporate Secretary of Bank Raya. “This is our third offline Inspiraya event, and we’re thrilled by the strong enthusiasm from participants. Moving forward, we’ll continue to develop the program creatively and reach even more people.”

Inspiraya is also regularly streamed live via Bank Raya’s Instagram channel, featuring financial experts who share practical insights on money management. To date, the program has aired more than 100 episodes.

Guest speakers at the recent session included M. Farhad, Head of Digital & Product at Bank Raya, and Yoshephine P. Tyas, Financial Planning Expert and Wealth Advisor at PINA. The discussions focused on topics such as simple cash-flow management, optimizing business capital for expansion, and measuring business health. Participants also learned how to use Saku Bisnis to accelerate their growth through better financial organization.

“One of the key challenges for business owners is breaking old habits in managing cash flow,” said Yoshephine. “By using technology, financial records become more systematic and accurate. This transformation is essential for local entrepreneurs to scale their businesses faster.”

Echoing this, Farhad noted that Saku Bisnis enables users to monitor profits, categorize business finances into multiple “pockets,” and separate personal and business cash flows. The feature also allows users to create up to three QRIS codes per account, manage up to five cashiers per store, and perform mass transfers to multiple accounts -- helping streamline daily business operations.

As of August 2025, more than 10,000 entrepreneurs across Indonesia have used Saku Bisnis, including those in Bank Raya’s flagship business clusters. The frequency of QRIS Bisnis transactions surged by 300 percent year-on-year to 3.3 million transactions, while total transaction volume grew 94 percent year-on-year to Rp13.8 billion.

Through the Raya App, Bank Raya provides a full range of digital banking features -- from personal budgeting tools like Saku Bujet, Saku Pintar, and Saku Jaga, to collaborative saving solutions like Saku Bareng and Saku Bisnis, designed to support entrepreneurs in managing finances efficiently and transparently.

“We remain committed to advancing financial inclusion by educating communities through financial literacy initiatives -- both via social media and through our community branches located in 23 cities across Indonesia,” Ajeng added.
