Jakarta. Asia Pacific Rayon (APR) is showcasing its sustainable viscose rayon products at the textile exhibition 2024 Indo Intertex in Jakarta.

APR is working with six partners in this exhibition, namely Purnama Tirtatex, Agungtex Group, WISKA, Argo Manunggal Triasta, Harapan Abadi Tekstil Indonesia (HATI), and Inoui Printing. 

APR’s booth will have all sorts of viscose rayon products such as viscose fiber, printed fabric, and dyed fabric, among others. Visitors will also get to see various applications of APR’s viscose-rayon fashion products such as sarongs, denim, modest wear, loungewear, and home textiles. There is also lyocell, the silky soft, high-quality cellulose fiber product. It is also an environmentally friendly textile product alternative.

At the exhibition, APR also shows its 2025 trendbook for viscose fashion. This book gives its readers insights into the latest designs, color trends, themes, and patterns. The book can also help fashion industry players, students, and young designers to create products that 

According to APR’s president director Basrie Kamba, this marks the sixth time the company joined Indo Intertex.

“We want to introduce the latest innovations and technology in developing viscose-rayon products made from biodegradable and high-quality raw materials from Indonesia. Second, APR and our partners present ‘Everything Indonesia’ viscose-rayon as one of the best textile alternatives and sustainable fashion,"  APR’s president director Basrie Kamba was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.

“This event is also an opportunity for our partners to explore their business potential. At APR, we call it Good for Customers," Basrie said.

APR’s rayon fiber comes from renewable and biodegradable raw materials, making it a sustainable raw material for clothing. Since it began operation in 2019, APR has always advocated sustainability, among others, by launching its APR2030. Under this sustainability blueprint, APR vows to be a leader in implementing clean and closed-loop production processes in Indonesia’s textile industry.

The 2024 Indo Intertex takes place at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta on March 20-23. APR Booth is located in Hall B3, #31 at Indo Intertex 2024.
