Jakarta. State-owned construction firm Adhi Karya recently garnered an Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) record for the fastest workers’ housing construction.

Adhi Karya, also known by its ticker symbol ADHI, made the record for the workers’ housing in the new capital Nusantara. This project, which spans 3,240 square meters, took 29 hours, 26 minutes, and 51 seconds to complete from the ground-breaking until it reached the topping-off process. This four-floor building, which is dedicated for Nusantara’s construction workers, uses ADHI’s Mobox technology.

“Mobox is a modular technology that offers a housing construction solution that is fast, safe, and environmentally friendly. Mobox uses environmentally friendly materials and generates minimum waste in its construction process,” Yan Arianto, the director for risk management at ADHI, said in a recent press statement.

Yan Arianto said such technology would be ideal for the construction workers working on the capital relocation. He added: “The speedy construction, thanks to the Mobox technology, does not affect the quality. Every housing unit has met stringent safety and comfort standards.”

The company vowed to continue to innovate to adopt eco-friendly technologies and become a pioneer in green construction solutions.
