Jakarta. State-owned construction firm Adhi Karya (ADHI) recently won two awards recognizing the company’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.

The awarding ceremony, which picked the theme “Optimizing ESG to Drive Value Creation”, was held by IDX Channel at the Indonesia Stock Exchange building in Jakarta last week. The awarding process paid attention to a number of aspects, namely environment, social, governance, innovation in sustainable finance, and integrated ESG.

The first award recognizes ADHI’s commitment to implementing an integrated ESG strategy in the infrastructure sector. ADHI’s president director Entus Anawi Muhkson also won The Most Committed ESG Leader award.

“The awards align with ADHI’s vision to become an innovative and leading corporation to spur sustainable development,” Ki Syahgolang Permata, ADHI’s human capital and legal director, was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
