Jakarta. State-owned construction firm Adhi Karya recently announced that the company had secured new contracts worth totaling Rp 10.2 trillion during the first half of 2024.

Adhi Karya’s accumulated new contracts stood at Rp 9.4 trillion as of May, thus marking an increase. Half of the new contracts that Adhi Karya earned in June were related to building projects. About 32 percent of the deals were related to water resources, while the rest were roadworks and bridges, property, manufacturing, as well as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).

“About 66 percent of the projects came from government funds. Private funding represents 29 percent of the projects, while the remaining contracts were funded by state-owned enterprises and other sources of funding,” the company said in a recent press statement.

Adhi Karya’s engineering and construction business line earned 92 percent of the contracts. Its property and hospitality line of business made up 3 percent of the fresh contracts, while 5 percent were related to manufacturing, investments, and concessions.
