Seven Jakarta-Bogor Commuter Train Services Canceled Monday for Maintenance
Jakarta. KAI Commuter will cancel seven scheduled train services on the Jakarta-Bogor commuter rail network on Monday, Oct. 19, as two trainsets undergo technical repairs, the operator announced.
KAI Commuter spokeswoman Karina Amanda apologized for the disruption and said the company was working with state-owned train manufacturer INKA to complete the repairs as quickly as possible.
"Seven commuter train services on the Jakarta-Bogor route will be canceled on Monday because two trainsets require repairs by technical teams from KAI Commuter and INKA," Karina said.
She acknowledged that the cancellations would inconvenience passengers, particularly those traveling during the morning rush hour.
"We fully understand the impact on passengers' comfort. Nevertheless, safety, security and reliability remain our top priorities in operating commuter train services every day," she said.
Canceled Train Services
The seven canceled departures, all scheduled in Western Indonesian Time, are:
- Train 1157: Bogor–Jakarta Kota, departing at 4:03 a.m.
- Train 1154: Jakarta Kota–Bogor, departing at 5:36 a.m.
- Train 1013A: Bogor–Manggarai, departing at 7:16 a.m.
- Train 1014: Manggarai–Bogor, departing at 8:37 a.m.
- Train 1124F: Depok–Bogor, departing at 5:33 a.m.
- Train 1195F: Cilebut–Jakarta Kota, departing at 6:22 a.m.
- Train 1192F: Jakarta Kota–Depok, departing at 7:48 a.m.
The cancellations affect selected departures rather than a complete suspension of services on the Bogor Line. KAI Commuter said it would seek to accelerate the repairs while maintaining operational safety standards.
