Police Bust Fake Driver’s License Operation in Sukabumi
Sukabumi, West Java. Police in Sukabumi, West Java, have uncovered an alleged operation producing counterfeit driver’s licenses and arrested a man suspected of making and selling the documents.
The suspect, identified by his initials HS, was arrested at his home in Bojonggenteng district, where police found equipment and materials allegedly used to produce the fake licenses.
Officers seized a laptop, a printer, card-making materials, and several counterfeit driver’s licenses that had not yet been delivered to customers.
Police investigator Dudi Suharyana said the case emerged following reports and information from residents about driver’s licenses suspected of not having been officially issued by the police.
A preliminary investigation identified at least four people believed to have obtained fake licenses from the suspect.
