Tangerang. The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) and B-Universe Media Holdings have agreed to collaborate on expanding public access to research on strategic economic and policy issues through B-Universe's multi-platform media network.

The partnership aims to bring research-based insights to a broader audience by leveraging B-Universe's television, print, digital, and multimedia platforms, while strengthening public understanding of issues affecting Indonesia's economy and business environment.

IBC Chief Executive Officer Sofyan Djalil announced the collaboration on Wednesday following a meeting with B-Universe Executive Chairman Enggartiasto Lukita.

“B-Universe operates a wide range of media platforms, while IBC is a research institution. We hope this collaboration will enable us to support one another and maximize the impact of our respective strengths,” Sofyan said.

IBC regularly produces research and policy studies on a wide range of strategic issues, including economic development, investment, industrial policy, sustainability, and governance.

According to Sofyan, working with a media organization will enable the council's research findings to reach a much wider audience while encouraging more informed public discussion on key national issues.

He said the collaboration reflects the growing importance of partnerships between research institutions and media organizations in delivering accurate, data-driven, and accessible information to the public.

B-Universe has also invested in research-driven journalism through its DataSatu.com platform, which regularly publishes original research, data analysis, and market insights alongside news coverage.

The two organizations said the partnership is expected to strengthen the dissemination of research findings and contribute to better-informed public discourse by making high-quality analysis more accessible to policymakers, businesses, investors, and the wider public.
