B-Universe Hosts Grand Viewing Party for Final Presidential Debate 2024
Banten. In anticipation of the fifth and final debate of the 2024 Presidential Election, the General Election Commission (KPU) is scheduled to host the debate at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan on Sunday. Simultaneously, B-Universe, the parent company of the Jakarta Globe, has arranged a watch party at Tokyo Hub PIK 2 in Tangerang, Banten.
The occasion is Beritasatu's third watch party at Tokyo Hub PIK 2. The event was attended by supporters of the presidential candidates --Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo--. Attendees, ranging from young adults to senior citizens, began filling the watch party area at 3:44 PM.
The watch party also welcomed the presence of B-Universe's Executive Chairman, Enggartiasto Lukita, along with members of the B-Universe team representing Beritasatu.com, Jakarta Globe, and BTV.
The B-Universe watch party kicked off at 4:00 PM local time. The enthusiasm for this evening's event was palpable, with a bustling crowd around the watch party area eagerly anticipating the proceedings.
Similar events were held at the East Coast PIK2 and Aloha Beach in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2. The excitement at Aloha PIK 2 was evident from as early as 11:30 AM. Most attendees were young adults and families.
The program began with the introduction of BTV by Fefe Andar, a ventriloquist accompanied by her puppet companion, Willy. Both introduced BTV's presence at PIK, on UHF channel 82, along with the channel's flagship programs.
In addition to the event at Aloha, a similar program was held at East Coast PIK2. BTV hosted a watch party for the 2024 Presidential Debate featuring presidential candidates at Tokyo Hub, PIK2, later in the evening. Attendee Ningrum expressed excitement about watching the debate.
"I'm interested in watching because this is the final debate. This is the last opportunity to make a decision, to strengthen the choice of a leader for the future," said Ningrum, an attendee.
The final debate in the 2024 Presidential Election will focus on the themes of social welfare, culture, education, information technology, health, employment, human resources, and inclusion.
