Badung, Bali. Authorities in Bali say they have found no evidence of pornography after raiding a Pererenan studio where foreign nationals, including adult film actress and OnlyFans creator Bonnie Blue, were detained last week. The investigation is now shifting toward potential immigration violations, with several individuals facing possible deportation.

Badung Police Chief M. Arif Batubara said investigators conducted a joint review with immigration officials and prosecutors, examining footage, digital files, and statements from studio workers and the foreigners involved. “So far the pornography elements have not been met, but there are strong indications of immigration violations,” Batubara told reporters on Wednesday.

The raid followed public reports and online posts suggesting a pornographic video shoot was underway. A social media account under the name bonnieblue had shared footage of a bright blue pickup truck branded “Bang Bus,” raising suspicions. Police later confirmed the truck had been used as a filming prop.

Police raided the Pererenan studio on Thursday, detaining 19 people, including Bonnie Blue, identified as a 26-year-old British national and allegedly the main performer. Officers also seized camera equipment, condoms, lubricant, USB drives, and documents linked to the blue pickup truck.

Four British nationals, including Blue, remain in custody for intensive questioning. Fourteen other foreigners — all Australian nationals aged 19 to 40 — were questioned as witnesses and later escorted back to their Bali residences under police and immigration supervision.

Studio crew members told investigators the shoot was a staged entertainment project meant to resemble a reality-style collaboration and insisted no pornographic material was produced.

Police examined videos recorded both at the studio and at a hotel in the Berawa area, finding no explicit content that violated Indonesia’s Pornography Law or the Electronic Information and Transactions Law. Prosecutors also determined that a private sexually explicit video found on a suspect’s phone did not meet the criteria for prosecution because it had not been distributed.

Criminal law experts consulted by authorities supported this conclusion, saying the case did not fulfill Indonesia’s strict legal criteria for pornography unless distribution beyond personal use could be proven.

Bonnie Blue has drawn recent controversy in the United Kingdom after claiming to have set a self-styled “world record” for having sex with 1,057 men in 12 hours, a stunt widely condemned by UK media and public figures.

Focus Turns to Immigration Violations

Immigration officers discovered potential misuse of stay permits. The four suspects still under questioning allegedly used KITAS (staying permit) and tourist visas to produce commercial content — an activity prohibited under their visa categories. Police are also assessing the pickup truck’s purchase and branding as part of the suspected production set.

Authorities say the investigation remains active, and deportation proceedings may follow if immigration violations are confirmed.

Batubara emphasized that the investigation is being conducted “professionally and objectively” and that the next legal steps will be coordinated with prosecutors and immigration authorities.
