Jakarta. Actress Tamara Tyasmara visited the Jakarta Metro Police for questioning regarding the death of her son, Dante, who allegedly drowned in a swimming pool in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024.

"Our client's agenda today is to provide her statement," said Tamara's legal representative, Sandi Arifin, to reporters at the Jakarta Metro Police on Monday.

According to Sandi, in addition to Tamara, several witnesses are being examined in the case, including Tamara's driver.

"There are several witnesses requested to be present, including the driver, to follow up on the report submitted yesterday," he said.

"Other witnesses may be called later; for now, this is the current situation," added Tamara.

Sandi mentioned that Tamara is willing to undergo an autopsy on Dante if the police deem it necessary.

"If a post-mortem or autopsy is required for the investigation and legal proceedings, our client is prepared," he said.

Tamara's ex-husband, renowned Indonesian DJ Angger Dimas is suspecting a foul play in the tragic death of his 6-year-old son, Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo. The young boy lost his life at the Tirtamas Pondok Kelapa swimming pool in East Jakarta on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024. Dante tragically lost his life while under the supervision of Tamara. The actress was reportedly on set shooting for a television show at the swimming pool where the incident occurred.

The international DJ, known for collaborations with artists like Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Diplo, and Iggy Azalea, recently withdrew the autopsy refusal letter initially signed after his son's death. Dimas explained that this action aims to streamline the investigation process. He harbors suspicions that his son's death was not a result of drowning but possibly a deliberate act. The DJ is committed to facilitating a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding his son's untimely death.

"To facilitate the investigation process, I am withdrawing the autopsy refusal letter," Dimas said at the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on Saturday.

The Head of Public Relations at Jakarta Metro Police Ade Ary Syam Indradi, said the case has been transferred from Duren Sawit Police Precinct to the Jakarta Metro Police since Feb. 1, 2024, to expedite the investigation process.

When questioned about whether Dante was deliberately drowned, Ade said they are still delving into the matter.
