Traffic Rerouted in Tangerang as Blackpink Star Lisa Films Movie
Jakarta. Traffic authorities in Indonesia’s Tangerang city in Banten Province have imposed temporary road diversions after BLACKPINK member Lalisa Manobal, better known as Lisa, was reported to be filming a movie in the area, officials said.
The measures affect sections of Jalan K.S. Tubun in Karawaci and were introduced by the Tangerang city administration in coordination with local traffic police to accommodate the filming while maintaining public safety and traffic flow.
According to a statement posted on the official Instagram account of the Tangerang Transportation Agency, several stretches of road — from Pintu Air 10 to the Simpang Tujuh intersection — are subject to temporary closures and rerouting.
“We have prepared a traffic management scheme to ensure residents can continue their daily activities as normally as possible,” Achmad Suhaely, head of the Tangerang Transportation Agency, said in a statement on Friday. “Joint officers have been deployed at key points to direct motorists to alternative routes.”
The road closures follow the issuance of a permit allowing the use of public roads for an international film production from South Korea. The movie is reported to be titled Extraction: Tygo and stars Lisa alongside prominent South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok, also known internationally as Don Lee.
Traffic diversions vary by date. On Jan. 28–29, vehicles from the Cadas area are being redirected via Jagal Bridge toward Jalan Benua, while traffic from Bayur to Pintu Air 10 is operating under a contra-flow system through the Public Works Agency intersection. From Jan. 30–31, starting at 6 a.m. local time, traffic from Neglasari is being diverted straight toward Rawa Kucing and Sitanala. Vehicles from Cadas will continue to use Jagal Bridge, while Bayur traffic will be rerouted via Sangego Bridge.
Authorities apologized for the inconvenience and urged motorists to follow traffic instructions and use alternative routes to avoid congestion during the filming period.
Lisa is one of the four members of Blackpink, one of the world’s most successful K-pop groups, formed by YG Entertainment. Born in Thailand, she has built a global fan base through record-breaking album sales, international tours, and high-profile fashion endorsements. In addition to her music career, Lisa has expanded into acting, marking a new phase in her global profile.
Her presence in Indonesia follows Blackpink's two-night concert in Jakarta in November 2025, part of the group’s BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR DEADLINE. More than 120,000 fans attended the shows at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, showing the group’s massive popularity in Southeast Asia.
