Jakarta. The Grand Outlet Bali (GOB), a retail complex in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Kura Kura Bali, is set to open in early 2026. The development is expected to create 1,200 jobs.

The construction is managed by Sumber Nusantara Construction, Pratama Widya, and China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai (Indonesia).

"We are thrilled to have reached this crucial step in the Grand Outlet Bali project. This development reflects our commitment to providing a premier shopping facility that will not only spur economic growth but also play a key role in strengthening Bali’s economy," said Tuti Hadiputranto, President Director of Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID), in a statement on Tuesday.

The project is expected to boost local businesses and contribute to Bali’s projected economic growth of 7.7 percent by 2045.

"By empowering local workers, including those in SEZ Kura Kura Bali, Serangan, this project will generate 1,200 jobs and support community development," Tuti explained.

Junichiro Kinoshita, Director of The Grand Outlet Bali from Mitsubishi Estate Indonesia, said that the project shows their dedication to building a shopping center that blends well with the local culture and environment.

Located on a 4.7 hectare land, the Grand Outlet Bali will feature a 3+1-story building with eco-friendly practices and Balinese architectural design. Inspired by the concept of Desa Bhineka, which reflects a rural setting with diverse communities, GOB is designed to be an international-scale outlet shopping center.

"Here, visitors can find a range of international luxury goods such as fashion, sportswear, children’s items, accessories, and beauty products at affordable prices," Tuti said.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of dining options and bars with ocean views. The rooftop area is expected to be a major attraction, providing a stunning sunset experience.
