From A7X to IU, Here Is the List of International Artists Set to Rock Indonesia
Jakarta. Indonesia has secured a spot on the list of stops for various world-renowned musicians. In 2024, numerous international artists are scheduled to bring their concert tours to the country, promising a vibrant year for music enthusiasts of various genres.
Simplifying the process for international musicians, the Indonesian immigration office has revised its requirements. Silmy Karim, the director general for immigration, confirmed that international artists no longer need to submit a work permit, police clearance letters, or a letter of work spanning at least five years to obtain a music performer visa.
The decision to streamline these regulations was made considering the brief duration of their performances in Indonesia, ensuring they do not pose competition to local musicians.
Previously, Indonesia has issued music performer visas for Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Twice, and the Jonas Brothers.
