Bandung. The annual fun run event hosted by eL Hotel Group may visit other cities following the success of this year's event in Bandung, which saw the number of participants double compared to last year's inaugural run.

The 2024 eL Run, which covered a distance of 7 kilometers in Bandung, drew around 800 runners, compared to 400 participants last year.

"This indicates that eL Run is becoming more popular and well-loved, and we have achieved great success with this edition,” eL Hotel Group General Manager Iwan Sumantri said after the event.

eL Hotel Bandung General Manager Iyok noted that many participants came from other cities, boosting the hotel's occupancy rate.

"Our rooms were fully booked last night, and about 20 percent of our guests were eL Run participants," Iyok said.

Tickets for the event were available for three months and sold out before Sunday, he added.

The success of the Bandung event has encouraged the management to consider hosting similar events at other eL Hotel locations, such as in Banyuwangi and Batu Malang.
