Bruno Mars to Extend Jakarta Show to a Third Day
Jakarta. American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars has added a third show in Jakarta after tickets for his initially planned two-day concert sold out before sales even began.
Mars, whose real name is Peter Gene Hernandez, enjoys immense popularity in Indonesia thanks to his international hits such as "Just the Way You Are" and "When I Was Your Man."
The multiple Grammy Award winner was initially scheduled to perform in Jakarta on September 13 and 14. However, presale tickets for these dates, available through the Bank Mandiri app, have been fully redeemed.
In a video posted on the Instagram account of the event organizer, the 38-year-old announced that he would add a third show in the Indonesian capital.
“You guys are amazing! I’m adding a third and final show in Jakarta on September 11 at Jakarta International Stadium. Can't wait to see you there!” Mars said in the video posted by PK Entertainment.
Tickets for the additional show will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. Jakarta time on Saturday, with prices ranging from Rp 950,000 to Rp 7.6 million ($58 to $467).
