Bali Judge Orders $12 Fine for Traffic Offense Involving 'Bonnie Blue's Bang Bus'
Denpasar. A court in Bali on Friday fined British adult film star Tia Emma Billinger, widely known as Bonnie Blue, Rp 200,000, or about $12, for a traffic violation in Denpasar.
The Denpasar District Court found Billinger guilty of violating traffic regulations by using a pickup truck to transport passengers on public roads, an activity prohibited under Indonesian traffic law. The vehicle bore signage reading “Bonnie Blue’s Bang Bus” and was used to produce online content in Bali.
“The defendant is sentenced to a fine of Rp 200,000, with a subsidiary penalty of one month’s imprisonment if the fine is not paid,” Judge Ketut Somanasa said during the verdict.
The court also ordered that the pickup truck, bearing license plate DK 8109 SX, be returned to Billinger. The car was reportedly bought from a local for Rp 20 million.
Police officer Agung Hendra, who testified as a witness, told the court that he did not personally witness the traffic violation. “I only became aware of it through TikTok,” he said.
Separately, Bali’s immigration office has stated that Billinger, 26, and three associates will be deported following the conclusion of legal proceedings.
The case drew widespread public attention after online speculation suggested Billinger planned to produce pornographic content in Bali. Police, however, said there was no evidence to support those claims.
Billinger and her team arrived on the island on November 6 using tourist visas, authorities said.
