Jakarta. Asia Pacific Rayon (APR), DuniaTex, and EMBA Group are collaborating at Jakarta Fashion Week 2025, taking place at Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 3, showcasing 48 collections themed "Fashion Evolution."

This collaboration focuses on the use of sustainable materials, with APR providing renewable and biodegradable viscose-rayon fibers. DuniaTex processes these fibers into high-quality fabrics, while EMBA Group creates stylish and eco-friendly collections. Designers Danjyo Hiyoji and Tities Saputra each work on menswear and womenswear collections, representing four EMBA brands: Ladies, Denim, Morphidae, and Classic.

“This year, we partnered with garment players, brands, and retailers to demonstrate upstream-downstream collaboration in the development of a sustainable textile industry in Indonesia and to enhance public awareness about the importance of sustainable fashion,” said Basrie Kamba, President Director of APR.

Danjyo presents two major themes, Wild Ones, which is edgy, and Voyage, which is classic. The Wild Ones collection, part of EMBA Denim, features denim applications using sustainable viscose-rayon with edgy and experimental styles. Meanwhile, Voyage presents a classic collection that combines green, navy blue, and beige, exuding beach and desert charm with elegant viscose-rayon applications.

Tities highlights the chic Freedom collection and the sustainability-focused Calma collection. Freedom is an EMBA Ladies collection showcasing a chic denim revolution through the use of viscose-rayon as an eco-friendly material, while the Morphidae collection themed Calma emphasizes elements that raise awareness about the use of materials supporting sustainability for environmental preservation.

Through this collection, EMBA demonstrates a variety of environmentally friendly clothing styles. This collaboration aims to educate the public about the importance of sustainable fashion and to encourage textile industry players to evolve. APR and DuniaTex emphasize their commitment to innovation and sustainability in Indonesia’s fashion industry, hoping to strengthen the sustainable fashion movement in the country.

“Through this Fashion Evolution collection, we can highlight various clothing styles, from casual to elegant, using varied yet sustainable materials,” said Mia Wu, Marketing Communications Manager of EMBA Group. Several names serve as muses for this fashion show, including Chicco Jerikho, Surya Saputra, Samo Rafael, Gamaliel, Gabriel Prince, Paula Verhoeven, Raihaanun, Whulandary Herman, and Aniza Caca.

Since 2019, APR has been committed to collaborating with designers, fashion enthusiasts, and textile players in an effort to support sustainable fashion in Indonesia. This year marks APR's third participation in JFW, and for the first time, APR collaborates with garment player DuniaTex to partner with local brands at Jakarta Fashion Week, the largest fashion exhibition in Southeast Asia. This inter-ecosystem collaboration is expected to further boost the sustainable fashion movement in Indonesia.

DuniaTex, one of the largest textile manufacturers in Southeast Asia, expresses pride in collaborating with APR and EMBA Group at JFW 2025. "Through this collaboration, DuniaTex reaffirms its commitment to sustainable textile products and innovation in Indonesia’s fashion industry. We aim to encourage textile industry players in Indonesia to continue evolving and showcase their best potential. This collaboration is not just about fashion products but is also an effort to advance the textile industry in Indonesia,” said Yulius Ari Budi Nugroho, Marketing Manager of DuniaTex.
