President Director (Managing Director) of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (Telkom) Alex J. Sinaga was named "Spoke Person of the Year 2017" at the Indonesian PR of the Year 2017 event hosted by Mix Marketing & Communication Magazine in Jakarta, Tuesday (31/10). The predicate is given since Alex J. Sinaga is considered as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and communicator with high credibility and very understanding of the industry. Therefore, Alex is considered a good source of news for the media.

Vice President of Corporate Communication Telkom Arif Prabowo would like to thank all parties who have supported the company's communication performance and Telkom's management. "Thank you very much to all parties, especially Media colleagues and employees of TelkomGroup, who have helped Telkom's Corporate Communications team in carrying out corporate communications functions, including communications conducted by our Managing Director. This award further spurs the Corporate Communications team and the entire management of TelkomGroup to always create quality and effective communication, "said Arif.

The award-winning Spoke Person of the Year 2017 was judged by no less than 50 journalists and national press figures, as well as an independent jury. Some aspects of the assessment, among others, the ability to understand the media, the ability to be a good source of news for the media and the public especially in crisis situations, as well as the ability to maximize the function of corporate communications as an important part in bridging the ranks of corporate leaders with the public.

Telkom was awarded the TOP Business Solutions 2017 category of triple play service IndiHome as TOP Fixed Internet Provider 2017. Telkomsel's subsidiary through Simpati and Kartu Halo products was also awarded as TOP Pre-Paid GSM Card 2017 and TOP Post -Paid GSM Card 2017 on. Meanwhile, Telkomsigma won four awards, namely TOP Data Center Service 2017, TOP Big Data Solution 2017, TOP Cloud Application Provider 2017, and TOP IT Software Development 2017. Infomedia achieved TOP Contact Center Solution 2017.
