Jakarta. Indonesia has recently clinched potential transactions worth up to $344.08 million with Latin American and Caribbean companies at a recent business forum in Santiago.

Earlier this month, Indonesia sent a business mission comprising 26 companies of multiple sectors to Santiago. This year’s INA-LAC business mission generated $344.08 million worth of potential transactions. The realized transactions hit $328.98 million. These figures represent year-on-year increases of 21.2% and 10.8%, respectively. In the 2025 São Paulo edition, the mission booked $284 million in potential transactions and $297 million in realized transactions, according to a press release by the Foreign Ministry.

This year’s event also saw the signing of four business agreements, although the ministry did not go into details on the deals being signed.

Deputy Foreign Minister Arif Havas Oegroseno highlighted the importance of choosing connectivity over fragmentation by strengthening trade and investment ties between Indonesia and Latin America.

“And also by expanding cross-sector cooperation, and building more diverse and resilient economic partnerships,” a statement by the Foreign Ministry reads.
