Jakarta. As many as four companies across the healthcare, logistics, and education sectors made their debut on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Thursday, signaling continued investor appetite in Southeast Asia’s largest economy.

The listings helped lift the Jakarta Composite Index back above the psychological 7,000 level, gaining 0.84 percent, supported by blue-chip stocks and positive investor sentiment.

Diastika Biotekindo (IDX: CHEK) surged 34 percent to hit its upper trading limit on its first day after raising Rp 114.1 billion ($6.9 million) from its IPO. The medical device distributor sold 815 million shares at Rp 128 each.

CEO Yoshua Raintjung said all proceeds will support working capital and the expansion of locally produced genomic technology, aligning with Indonesia’s preventive healthcare initiatives. CHEK expects 2025 revenue to reach Rp 220 billion, marking a 40 percent year-on-year increase.

Education services provider Merry Riana Edukasi (IDX: MERI) also hit its upper trading limit, climbing 34 percent to Rp 172 per share from its IPO price of Rp 128, raising Rp 30 billion. The firm, founded by motivational speaker Merry Riana, plans to use 65 percent of the proceeds to expand its learning center network and 35 percent to strengthen its event programs and digital infrastructure.

Riana has committed to a five-year lockup on her shares, while prominent Indonesian businessman Hermanto Tanoko joined as a strategic investor to support MERI’s post-IPO expansion.

Logistics and warehousing company Trimitra Trans Persada (IDX: BLOG) jumped 25 percent to Rp 312 per share at the open after raising Rp 140.8 billion. CEO Maickel Tilon said 67 percent of the funds will go toward expanding warehouse capacity in Tangerang, Pontianak, and Makassar, while 33 percent will be used to purchase up to 100 light trucks to support business expansion amid growing logistics demand in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Prima Multi Usaha Indonesia (IDX: PMUI) was listed on the IDX despite market rumors of a potential delay, which management clarified as a technical documentation issue that was resolved ahead of listing. PMUI shares fell 15 percent to Rp 153 on debut from an offering price of Rp 180. CEO Agus Susanto said strategic investors were secured without management share purchases, countering speculation around the IPO process.
