Gudang Garam Rebounds in Q3, Boosting 9-Month Profit to $66.2 Million
Jakarta. Cigarette manufacturer Gudang Garam recorded a net profit of Rp 1.1 trillion ($66.2 million) in the January–September 2025 period, marking an 11.8 percent increase from Rp 992.2 billion in the same period last year.
According to data from Stockbit Sekuritas, Gudang Garam’s third-quarter profit alone reached Rp 990 billion, a sharp rebound from just Rp 13 billion in the previous quarter.
Based on the company’s financial report, revenue for the nine-month period stood at Rp 67.32 trillion, down from Rp 73.89 trillion a year earlier. However, the cost of goods sold (COGS) declined to Rp 61.02 trillion from Rp 66.57 trillion, helping to support the company’s bottom line.
Other income rose significantly to Rp 393.29 billion from Rp 211.41 billion, while interest expenses dropped to Rp 270.4 billion from Rp 441.41 billion.
As of September 30, 2025, Gudang Garam’s total assets stood at Rp 76.49 trillion, with liabilities of Rp 14.43 trillion and equity of Rp 62.06 trillion.
Gudang Garam’s shares (GGRM) closed 1.45 percent higher at Rp 15,725 by the end of the first trading session on Friday. The stock has surged 28.63 percent over the past week and soared 70 percent in the last three months.
