Jakarta. Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani praised B-Universe Media Holdings for its consistent and inspiring coverage of investment and economic development in Indonesia, noting the group’s role in shaping public discourse on national growth.

During a meeting with B-Universe Executive Chairman Enggartiasto Lukita and directors at Wisma Danantara Indonesia on Thursday, Rosan also commended the group’s economic discussions and seminars, including the annual Investor Daily Summit.

“I want to express my appreciation to B-Universe, which has been very active and consistent in spreading positive and inspiring news,” Rosan said.

The meeting also addressed the economic programs under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration and the mandate of Danantara, Indonesia’s newly established sovereign wealth fund. Formed just months ago, Danantara manages state-owned enterprises’ assets and funds, investing in strategic sectors aligned with national priorities.

One flagship initiative under consideration is the development of an Indonesian Hajj Village in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The project aims to better serve the hundreds of thousands of Indonesian pilgrims each year, reflecting President Prabowo’s vision.

“I just returned from Jeddah and Mecca to pursue this noble goal envisioned by the President and long desired by the Indonesian people -- to have a Hajj Village in Mecca,” Rosan said.

Rosan also reiterated Danantara’s support for B-Universe’s regular economic forums and seminars.

At the meeting, Enggartiasto officially invited Rosan to participate in the upcoming Investor Daily Summit in October, both in his capacity as CEO of Danantara and as Indonesia’s Investment Minister.

“He has attended for three consecutive years, and for this fourth edition he has again confirmed his presence. This is the largest investment forum in Indonesia, and it will also be Danantara’s event,” Enggartiasto said.

He revealed that the 2025 summit is being designed as an international-scale gathering featuring world-class speakers.

According to Enggartiasto, the global scope of this year’s forum draws inspiration from President Prabowo’s push to position Indonesia as a major player in the global economy and geopolitics -- an approach branded as Garuda Diplomacy.

“One of the people who understands this vision best and can articulate it clearly is Mr. Rosan,” he added.
