BOLDe Makes Indonesia Production Hub for Global Markets
Jakarta. US-based household products company BOLDe Inc. has chosen Indonesia as one of its production bases as it seeks to expand its presence in global markets.
The company said the decision reflects its confidence in Indonesia’s workforce, manufacturing capabilities, and industrial potential to produce goods that can compete internationally.
Products manufactured in Indonesia are sold not only in the domestic market but also overseas, including in the United States.
“We chose Indonesia because we believe in the capabilities of its workforce, the potential of its industries, and the determination of its people to continue developing,” the company said in a statement on Monday.
It did not disclose the value of its investment in Indonesia.
BOLDe said its Indonesian-made products are already available to US consumers through several digital sales channels, including Amazon, TikTok Shop US, and the company’s official website.
The company is targeting annual sales growth of 50% by strengthening its domestic business while expanding international distribution. Products being positioned for global markets include the Thunder Mop and Ultra Gran.
After strengthening its presence in the US, BOLDe plans to gradually expand exports to Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, bringing more products manufactured in Indonesia to international consumers.
The company is also seeking to capitalize on the growth of the US digital retail market. According to US Census Bureau data, US retail e-commerce sales reached $340.2 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 12.2% from a year earlier and accounting for 17.1% of total US retail sales.
It said Indonesia serves not only as a market for BOLDe but also as a production and business development base.
Indonesian workers are involved across various stages of production and distribution, including material processing, assembly, quality control, packaging, warehousing, and preparations for distribution.
