BCA Net Profit Rises 4.9% in 2025 on Steady Credit Expansion
Jakarta. Bank Central Asia posted solid earnings growth in 2025 despite global and domestic economic headwinds, supported by steady credit expansion and strong transactional banking performance.
The country’s largest private lender booked consolidated net profit of Rp 57.5 trillion ($3.43 billion) last year, up 4.9% year-on-year, driven mainly by higher interest income and a sharp rise in non-interest revenue.
Net interest income grew 4.1% yoy, while non-interest income jumped 16% yoy as of December 2025, reflecting resilient core banking operations.
From the intermediation side, total loans disbursed by Bank Central Asia and its subsidiaries reached Rp 993 trillion, expanding 7.7% yoy, with average credit growth standing at 10.8% throughout the year. Lending was spread across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, trade, restaurants, hotels, and households.
Loan growth was underpinned by a 10.2% yoy increase in third-party funds to Rp 1,249 trillion. BCA also recorded a strong rise in low-cost funds, with current and savings account (CASA) balances climbing 13.1% yoy to Rp 1.04 quadrillion by year-end.
President Director Hendra Lembong said customer trust and policy support played a key role in sustaining the bank’s performance.
“Strong support from customers, alongside backing from the government and authorities, helped us navigate 2025 and deliver positive results,” he said during a press briefing on Tuesday.
Throughout the year, BCA held several customer-focused events, including two BCA Expo events, the BCA UMKM Fest, BCA World Summit, and the annual Gebyar Hadiah BCA program, which the bank said contributed positively to overall performance.
Meanwhile, in the stock market, BCA shares closed down 1.96% at Rp 7,500 on Tuesday, shedding 150 points, even as trading activity remained robust. Total volume reached 259.8 million shares, while turnover amounted to Rp 2 trillion, with 65,044 transactions recorded during the session.
