Jakarta.  Forbes has named telecommunications giant Telkom among the world's best employers for the fourth consecutive year.

Telkom has soared to 262nd place out of 850 selected companies in the 2024 edition of Forbes' World's Best Employers. This was a huge jump compared to the 421st place that Telkom got in last year's list.

According to the 2024 ranking, Telkom surpasses other Indonesian companies, namely Adaro Energy (331st), Sinar Mas (570th), Kalbe (695th), and BNI (718th).

Telkom also placed fifth in the world in the telecommunications services industry, surpassing NTT Japan, Vodafone UK, Telenor Norway, Etisalat UEA, SingTel Singapore, China Mobile, Telstra Australia, BT Group UK.

“It is an honor for us to be on the list of dream companies with other world's best companies. This is proof that Telkom is still seen as a dream company to work for. This shows that what Telkom is doing puts the company on the right track," Telkom’s human capital management director Afriwandi was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.

Forbes had partnered with global market research firm Statista to survey over 300,000 employees from 50 countries who work in multinational companies. Respondents were asked to give a rating of how much they would recommend the company based on criteria such as talent development, employee welfare and work flexibility.

Afriwandi also attributed the achievement to all TelkomGroup employees’ hard work in creating the best work environment based on the so-called AKHLAK.For reference, AKHLAK are the core principles adopted by Indonesian state-owned enterprises.Afriwandi also said he hoped that Telkom could become a dream workplace for Indonesia’s best talents.
