RMK Energy Appoints New Director to Strengthen Management
Jakarta. Integrated coal logistics services provider RMK Energy (RMKE IJ) appointed a new director at its extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in Jakarta on Thursday.
The shareholders approved the appointment of Edwin Tedjasukmana as a director. Edwin boasts a solid track record in finance and accounting. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Surabaya and has extensive experience in the financial sector. Prior to becoming the RMK Energy's finance director, Edwin held the same role at RMK Grup Indonesia since 2025. He also has experience at several well-known companies, including KAP Osman Bing Satrio & Eny (a member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu) and DSSE Energi Mas Utama (a subsidiary of Dian Swastatika Sentosa).
"Edwin is well-experienced across various industry sectors. He has a strong track record in financial management and auditing. So we are confident he will bring a valuable new perspective to the company," RMK Energy's independent commissioner F Saud Tamba Tua said.
"Amidst the current challenges and opportunities in the energy industry, strengthening the management team is crucial. Mr. Edwin's presence will strengthen our financial fundamentals and support the execution of the company's long-term strategy to continue growing sustainably and delivering added value to shareholders."

According to RMK Energy Director Vincent Saputra, strengthening the board is one of the company's strategies to support the company's long-term plans, particularly for future corporate actions. RMK Energy plans to focus expanding and improving logistics accessibility. To this end, the company will addhauling road connectivity to potential mines in Muara Enim and targets acquiring 4-5 new customers this year.
"We are increasingly optimistic with the addition of three new customers at the close of 2025: Wiraduta Sejahtera Langgeng (WSL), Duta Bara Utama (DBU), and Menambang Muara Enim (MME). With these new customers, we are targeting a logistics service transportation volume of 12.7 million tons of coal by 2026," Vincent said.
