PT Multi Ocean Shipyard to Build New Additional Jetty
Jakarta. PT Multi Ocean Shipyard (MOS), the subsidiary of PT Soechi Lines Tbk, recently announced it would build a new additional jetty in its shipyard.
The additional jetty is expected to boost the Company’s operational capacity and efficiency. The new facility is also set to enable MOS to serve more ships simultaneously. It will also boost the production capacity and the customer’s services.
MOS has already begun constructing the jetty earlier this month. The construction is expected to finish in Feb. 2025.
“This is also a strategic step to support MOS’s vision as a leading shipyard that contributes to Indonesia’s maritime industry,” the press release reads.
Constructing this jetty is the state-owned construction firm PT PP (Persero) and consultant PT Indra Karya. The jetty is also expected to bring long-term benefits for MOS, customers, and the local community by generating new jobs and boosting the regional economy.
