Jakarta. Jeweler MONDIAL recently teamed up with Indonesian artist Naufal Abshar to launch a contemporary artwork inspired by the brand’s Dreams jewelry collection.

According to a MONDIAL press release, the Dreams collection takes inspiration from one’s strong will to achieve their dreams. Just like a diamond, making one’s dream come true takes hard work. It is also a long journey to be the best and different from others. MONDIAL and Naufal Abshar have left a message through this artwork that everyone has their own dreams that they would like to achieve. 

MONDIAL general manager Leslie Christian Saputra said the MONDIAL Dreams collection sought to inspire the youth to dream.

“We are aiming for youths who are dynamic and wish to look different,” Leslie was quoted as saying in the press release. 

“Naufal’s works are artistic and embrace modernity that shows youths who have dreams. This is in line with MONDIAL Dreams,” Leslie said.

It is not without reason that the color blue is dominant in the artwork. Blue is not only MONDIAL’s identity color, but it also happens to be Naufal’s favorite color. 

According to Naufal, the color blue is synonymous with dreams as it reminds him of the limitless sea and sky. 

“The artwork shows people with big dreams. There is an entrepreneur, actress, and so on. The ‘dreams’ [in this artwork] represent how everyone has dreams of becoming anything, an entrepreneur, artist, career woman, or having a good life. And of course, the dream of having MONDIAL as a complement to one’s happiness in life,” Naufal added.

MONDIAL will also release this artwork in the form of merchandise such as scarves, coasters, pouches, and tumblers. Customers who purchase MONDIAL Dreams are eligible for this merch (terms and conditions apply).
