MilkLife Lactose Free Promotes Healthy Digestion as Ramadan Continues
Jakarta. The milk brand MilkLife is promoting healthy digestion as the fasting month of Ramadan is entering its third week.
MilkLife partnered with the TV station BTV to enliven the “Jalan Dakwah Special Ramadan Road to Masjid” at Nurul Musthofa Mosque in Depok on Tuesday.
MilkLife aims to promote the consumption of dairy milk among the congregants to break fast without having to worry about digestive problems. During the event, the company distributed MilkLife Lactose Free to the Muslims — be it young and old — visiting the mosque.
As the first lactose-free cow's milk in Indonesia, MilkLife Lactose Free is an ideal choice for breaking the fast. This milk is processed using the enzyme lactase, which converts lactose into glucose and galactose, making it very safe for those who often experience nausea, bloating, or diarrhea after consuming milk.
MilkLife Lactose Free still maintains all the nutritional benefits of regular cow's milk. It is packed with protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin B12, riboflavin, and vitamin D — all necessary for optimum growth and body function. This combination also strengthens bones and muscles while helping the body recover after fasting.
Aside from sermons, the Milklife-backed BTV Jalan Dakwah program also held cooking shows and offered door prizes for the congregation. The milk distribution is a means of educating the public about the importance of choosing nutritious food that is friendly to digestion.
