Jakarta. The Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Ministry/Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) has ranked fifth in the Informative category at the 2025 Public Information Transparency Awards.

The award, presented by Central Information Commission (KIP) Vice Chairman Arya Sandhiyudha, was received by the ministry's Secretary General Dwiyono at Hotel Bidakara in South Jakarta on Monday.

“Although we are a newly established ministry, we have managed to achieve a notable result by securing fifth place. We hope this will serve as motivation to further improve public information transparency in the future,” Dwiyono said.

The award recognizes public institutions that demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing the principles of Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure. This year, the award was granted to 197 public bodies classified as informative, spanning seven categories: ministries; state institutions and non-ministerial government agencies; non-structural institutions; provincial governments; state-owned enterprises; public universities; and political parties.

With a score of 98.40, KemenP2MI ranked fifth among 33 ministries that received the Informative classification. The score marked an improvement from 96.97 in 2024.

Fourth place was taken by the Manpower Ministry with a score of 98.42, followed by the Communication and Digital Ministry at 98.54, the Youth and Sports Ministry at 98.57, and the Trade Ministry at 98.79.

The Public Information Transparency Awards and the launch of the 2025 Public Information Transparency Index (IKIP) were officially opened by KIP Chairman Donny Yoesgiantoro.
