Jakarta. Kozystay, Indonesia’s leading tech-enabled hospitality and short-term rental management company, announced Thursday that it had acquired BaliSuperHost, Bali’s largest premium villa management company.

With the combined portfolios of both companies, Kozystay group now manages more than 1,000 properties across Indonesia, establishing itself as the largest short-term rental management group in the region.

Bali is one of the world’s largest short-term rental markets. The acquisition significantly strengthens Kozystay’s presence on the island while complementing its existing leadership in Jakarta and Bandung.

“We believe Kozystay can add value through efficiency and technology, bringing a new era of hospitality that blends innovation with service. At the same time, we can leverage BaliSuperHost’s operational excellence and strong portfolio of premium villas, which align perfectly with our standards. Together, we will elevate guest experiences while maximizing returns for property owners,” Dane Putranto, the co-founder and chief executive officer of Kozystay, said.

Kozystay will partner with BaliSuperHost to deliver an elevated, tech-enabled hospitality experience for guests and property owners.

Kozystay will provide its tech-enabled approach and leading presence in short term rentals for apartments and aparthotels. BaliSuperHost has been a market leader with premium villas in Bali. This partnership is expected to create the biggest tech-enabled short-term rental management group in this region.

“Partnering with Kozystay allows us to amplify that mission -- blending our trusted, hands-on villa expertise with Kozystay’s technology-driven solutions and large-scale management capabilities. Together, we will enhance efficiency, accelerate growth, and deliver consistently high-quality service across the region -- ensuring our owners benefit from smarter, more reliable management, while our guests enjoy seamless and memorable stays,” Ian Luqi Liu, the managing director of BaliSuperHost, said.

BaliSuperHost founders Jonathan Nauleau and Nicolas Cheneve also welcomed the acquisition.

“With Kozystay’s experience and shared commitment to excellence, we are confident that together we will strengthen our position and move closer to becoming the leading villa management company in Asia,” they were quoted as saying in the press statement.

Over the years, BaliSuperHost has built a strong reputation for quality service, operational consistency, and guest satisfaction. It has over 400 villas under management, and has hosted more than 600,000 guests. BaliSuperHost has also recorded over 20,000 positive reviews across platforms. There are currently more than 1,200 employees working for BaliSuperHost.

Both companies are eyeing Indonesia's vibrant property market that spans hundreds of thousands of apartments and a rapidly growing villa industry. Shifting travel behaviors -- fueled by remote work, extended stays, and demand for flexible living -- are driving rapid growth in alternative accommodations.

Kozystay’s asset-light, tech-enabled business model allows it to capture these opportunities at scale. The acquisition of BaliSuperHost positions the group as the partner of choice for local and foreign investors seeking professional property management in Indonesia. Guests will enjoy a broader selection of high-quality stays and an even more elevated experience. They are also looking to expand into new strategic markets including Bogor, Surabaya, and Lombok.
