Jakarta. Danone Indonesia recently took home six trophies at the 2023 Public Relations Indonesia Awards or PRIA.

The categories that Danone Indonesia won included the CSR Community Based Development (Silver Winner) for its Ecodev Banceuy village in which the company empowers the local community via ecotourism, agrotourism, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) empowerment program.

The CSR Sustainability Business award recognized Danone Indonesia's stunting prevention initiative which focuses on a Penta helix collaboration via nutrition fulfillment, good parenting, and sanitation. The 2023 PRIA crowned Danone Indonesia as a gold winner in this sub-category.

Danone Indonesia won two awards in the Corporate PR category. The FMCG giant was a gold winner in this category for its Bicara Gizi (Nutrition Talk) program. As the name suggests, the program teaches parents about health and nutrition via digital platforms and media.

Danone Day, the annual large-scale event to motivate the company's employees, received the silver winner award in the Corporate PR category.

Also, Danone Indonesia took home an award for being the most popular on mass media. Last but not least was the best presenter award for Chika Nur Rachma Koeswandi.

"We would like to extend our utmost appreciation for the awards given. All six awards show that Danone Indonesia's public relations are serious about supporting sustained business performance via communication or social programs. They have also worked to protect the company's positive image amidst today's era of information disruption," Arif Mujahidin, the corporate communications at Danone Indonesia, was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.

According to Arif, innovation and collaboration are pivotal to the growth of a competitive and sustainable business. Public relations, be it as communication or a social program, are also crucial in building and keeping up a successful business.

"Hopefully, these awards can motivate our company to continue to innovate and contribute to society via corporate social responsibility programs, that uphold social, environment, and responsibility, which will have a direct impact on Indonesia's growth," Arif said.
