Jakarta. Danone SN Indonesia recently announced the Logos Cileungsi Distribution Center as its new warehouse in Cileungsi, Bogor.

“We hope this new warehouse can ensure the stock of nutritional products for Indonesians so that they are available and easily accessible in the market,” Danone SN Indonesia operations director Sharul Abdullah Nizam was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.

According to Shahrul, the Logos Cileungsi Distribution Center became one of Danone SN’s largest warehouses in Indonesia. 

“Hopefully, this warehouse can meet the needs and coming challenges, including ensuring our supply chain. This infrastructure development is also part of an effort to keep up the high safety and quality standards to make sure that all of the products are of high quality,” Shahrul said.

The warehouse has 22 unloading doors, high-standard sampling rooms, cool rooms for storing materials at a temperature of 100C and 200C, robust security systems such as sprinklers, alarms, and smoke detectors, and a wider and more modern storage area. Logos Cileungsi Distribution Center also becomes a consolidation warehouse to support the route-to-market for Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi, and South Sumatra.

Shahrul said the company had complied with the existing procedures during the six-month moving process. 

Danone SN Indonesia’s logistics partner Kamadjaja Logistics also commented on the launch of the new warehouse.

“We make sure that Danone products are managed safely with trustworthy technology and equipment, coupled with stringent good warehouse practice standards that embrace zero loss, zero defects, and zero contamination,” Ivy Kamadjaja, the deputy CEO and CMO for Kamadjaja Logistics.

“With our logistics networks spread across the archipelago, we are ready to support Danone Indonesia’s business expansion in the future.”
