BRI Manajemen Investasi Wins Best Sharia Fund Manager Award
Jakarta. BRI Manajemen Investasi (BRI-MI) recently won at the 2024 Sharia Economy Award.
The investment manager took home the award for the “Best Sharia Fund Manager” category. The award recognizes BRI-MI’s ability as an asset management firm in offering sharia-compliant mutual funds by identifying the return, risks, modified sharpe ratio, as well as the investment unit growth. BRI-MI vows to provide the best mutual fund services to its customers as the company seeks to create added value for investors by managing innovative and competitive investment products.
“We will continue to launch products that investors seek after so we can meet their investment needs by keeping up the good work and maintaining accountability,” Herman Tjahjadi, the chief investment officer at BRI-MI, said Monday.
BRI-MI’s assets under management reached Rp 31.8 trillion in March 2024, marking a 17 percent year-on-year increase versus the Rp 27.12 trillion recorded the same period last year. Herman said he hoped the award could motivate BRI-MI to continue developing sharia-compliant products.
“We will always listen to what our investors need. This shall motivate us to maintain our performance in the sharia sector,” Herman said.
Herman also introduced BRI-MI's BRI G20 Sharia Equity Fund Dollar (BRI G20) as an investment alternative that is suitable for investors who prioritize sharia principles when investing.
"BRI-MI's sharia products, including the BRI G20 Mutual Fund product, is one of BRI-MI's flagship sharia products which offers investment income levels denominated in American dollars, which mainly invests in the foreign sharia securities equity portfolio in the sharia securities list,” Herman said.
