Jakarta. The Banjarmasin branch of the employment security agency BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is currently seeking to promote its work accident services.

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Banjarmasin has established work accident service partnerships with 39 local hospitals. They also now have the e-PLKK app so people can get treated much quicker in case of work accidents. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan also said that standardization works were underway to improve the services, according to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Banjarmasin’s head Murniati. She also talked about the Jamsostek Mobile (JMO) app.

“The JMO app not only speeds up the disbursement claim, but this lets people to make a claim anywhere without having to come to our branch office,” Murniati was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.

It also allows people to sign up non-wage recipient workers in the system, so they can also access employment social security. The JMO app is available on Google Play Store and the AppStore. Murniati added: “You can submit retirement savings claim under Rp 10 million via the app easily anywhere, anytime.”

Murniati also talked of the so-called additional services program (MLT), which takes the form of home ownership financing. Some of the requirements include that the applicant must be an active BPJamsostek member for at least one year. Their employers must also be disciplined in administrative matters and their fee payments. The program is also open to those who have not owned a house yet.
