Jakarta. ARCH:ID 2026 is set to reinforce its position as one of Indonesia’s largest architecture and design exhibitions, returning with a significantly expanded scale and program, organizers said.

The event, jointly organized by the Association of Indonesian Architects (IAI) and CIS Exhibition, will take place from April 23–26, 2026, at ICE BSD City in Tangerang, featuring 725 booths and more than 180 exhibitors across an 18,000-square-meter exhibition area.

Beyond serving as a showcase for building materials and product innovation, this year’s edition expands its programming to include an international conference, talk series, business matching sessions, and creative competitions, involving hundreds of speakers and dozens of leading architects in the curation process.

Project Director of CIS Exhibition, Arief Sofyan Rudiantoro, said the event promotes collaboration between brands and architects, encouraging each booth to function not only as a product display but also as a platform for storytelling and strong design narratives.

“The Curated Best Booth Award recognizes these efforts, while providing added value for brands in building positioning and delivering more memorable experiences at ARCH:ID 2026,” Arief said at a press conference in Jakarta.

ARCH:ID 2026 is curated by architects Afwina Kamal of Hadiprana Design, Trianzani Sulshi (Studio Aliri), and Dhanie Syawalia (Dhanie & Sal), all affiliated with the IAI.

Carrying the theme “Skema Sintesa – Architecture of Engagement,” the exhibition frames architecture as an open and collaborative ecosystem, where disciplines intersect, dialogue evolves, and traditional boundaries are blurred.

In a curatorial statement, the team said the theme challenges the long-standing notion of architecture as an autonomous discipline, emphasizing that the built environment is shaped by systems and actors beyond the design studio.

Reflecting this approach, the exhibition broadens participation beyond architects to include lighting designers, graphic designers, product designers, and landscape architects working alongside industry partners. Institutional support comes from organizations such as the Indonesian Society of Interior Designers (HDII), the Indonesian Lighting Engineering Association (HTII), the Indonesian Landscape Architects Association (IALI), the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), and others.

International Conference Brings Global and Local Perspectives
A two-day international conference will be held alongside the exhibition, divided into The Urban Forum and The Architectural Forum. It will feature prominent figures addressing contemporary urban and architectural challenges.

Speakers include Florence Chan, Manuelle Gautrand, and Marina Tabassum, known for their work spanning global-scale projects, heritage-sensitive design, and climate-responsive architecture.

Additional perspectives will be provided by Agnes Soh, focusing on resilient and livable urban environments.

Indonesia’s Vice Minister for Creative Economy, Irene Umar, is also scheduled to speak alongside Diana Kusumastuti, offering policy and national development insights.

“Architecture of Engagement is about building a collaborative ecosystem — bridging disciplines to create a shared language in designing and developing cities,” Irene said.

Visual artist Isha Hening and architect Helen Agustine will represent a younger creative generation exploring intersections between art, space, and contemporary architectural practice.

With this lineup, ARCH:ID 2026 aims to serve not only as a forum for exchanging ideas but also as a platform shaping the future of the built environment — from global discourse to local implementation.

B2B Platform for Industry Collaboration
As a curated B2B exhibition, ARCH:ID provides a platform for product launches, knowledge exchange, and professional networking, fostering collaboration among brands, architects, and multidisciplinary practitioners.

Featured categories include renewable and sustainable architecture, smart building technologies, modular solutions, Building Information Modelling (BIM), as well as a wide range of architectural, interior, and construction materials and finishing products.

Organizers expect the event to attract around 31,000 visitors over four days, positioning it as a key meeting point for industry professionals.

Registration for the exhibition is available at arch.id/visit2026, while conference tickets can be purchased at arch.id/conference2026, granting access to discussions, presentations, and cross-disciplinary exchanges.
