Adhi Karya Confident on Finishing New Capital Projects On Time
Jakarta. State-owned construction firm PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk recently expressed its confidence that the company would finish the projects in the new capital Nusantara on time.
The government is planning to hold the upcoming Independence Day ceremony in Nusantara. As the city gears up for the big day, Adhi Karya’s president director Entus Asnawi -- alongside State-Owned Enterprise Minister Erick Thohir -- had an on-site visit to the new capital. The top brass of other state-owned enterprises were also present.
According to a press release, Minister Erick and his entourage visited the presidential palace, tollway infrastructure, and 50-megawatt solar panel project, among others. They also checked on the ministers’ houses, gas networks, telecommunication infrastructure, as well as the training center for the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).
Adhi Karya is in charge of building PSSI’s training center. The company reported that the construction had reached 96.6 percent completion. The facilities that already finished construction included the natural and synthetic fields, dormitory, and changing rooms. Adhi Karya is also building the ministers’ houses under a joint operation. Entus said that the houses would be ready for the ministers to move in by the independence day which falls on Aug. 17.
“Adhi Karya is optimistic that we will be able to finish the projects in Nusantara as targeted. In finishing these projects, we are always committed to uphold safety and quality to provide the best possible work,” Entus said.
