Ukrainian Model Deported from Bali for Posting Adult Content Online
Denpasar. A foreign national from Ukraine, identified as VR, has been deported by the Denpasar Immigration Office for creating and posting pornographic content online. She and her toddler have already left Indonesia for Warsaw, Poland.
Ridha Sah Putra, the Head of the Denpasar Immigration Office, said on Monday that he had suspected VR's activities since Sept. 14. The Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement team promptly initiated an investigation into her actions.
VR is believed to be a model in the international pornographic film industry. While in Bali, she reportedly produced pornographic content, allegedly filming at a villa in the Ubud tourist area of Gianyar, Bali.
Immigration officers visited the villa and arrested VR without resistance. Upon inspection, it was revealed that she held a limited-stay permit as an investor.
Following her arrest, VR was deported via I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
“We will continue to closely monitor foreign nationals in Bali, especially those who may violate the law,” said Ridha Sah Putra.
Records from the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights indicate that from January to August 2024, a total of 157 foreign nationals were deported from Bali.
Additionally, 194 other foreign nationals are awaiting deportation and are currently held at the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center. The reasons for their deportation include misuse of residence permits, overstaying, and involvement in criminal cases.
