Jakarta. Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim, inaugurated the Immigration Lounge, a specialized immigration service unit, located on the B2 Floor in Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 3, South Jakarta, on Monday.

Silmy said the Immigration Lounge offers expedited one-day passport services for Indonesian citizens and visa-on-arrival (VoA) extensions for foreign nationals.

"Immigration will continue to expand services, bringing them closer to the community and always being present to meet the public's demand for accessible immigration services," Silmy said

Citizens seeking passport services at the Immigration Lounge from Monday to Friday must register through the M-Paspor app. For those preferring to come directly, walk-in services are available only on Saturdays and Sundays.

Foreign nationals needing VoA extensions must also register in advance through Immilounge.com/wna.

Johannes Fanny Satria, Head of the South Jakarta Immigration Office, said the Immigration Lounge was initiated to accommodate the lifestyle of both Indonesian and foreign citizens in South Jakarta, who often visit malls and have busy schedules.

"The service days and operating hours are tailored to meet the needs of users," he said.

The Immigration Lounge is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, service hours are until 2:00 p.m.
